Wholesale Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Wholesale Manager who is ready to take O My Bag’s B2B sales to the next level. At O My Bag, we create timeless, sustainable leather bags and accessories that make a positive impact for people and the planet. As the Wholesale Manager, you will be a key player in scaling our B2B sales and expanding our brand presence in key international markets. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution and is ideal for someone who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will lead a team of Account Managers, manage relationships with agents and distributors and drive our participation in trade fairs and other key B2B initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales and the Marketing and Production teams to ensure alignment across departments and consistent sales growth.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  1. B2B Sales & Market Growth

    • Drive new business opportunities while strengthening existing wholesale relationships.

    • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies in core markets including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States.

    • Take an active role in high-level sales conversations, including key account management.

    • Lead, mentor and support the Account Management team to improve performance, motivation and sales capabilities.

    • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback and create a high-energy, target-driven sales environment. 

  2. Business Development & Strategic Initiatives

    • Expand and optimize our network of agents and distributors to support long-term growth.

    • Oversee B2B initiatives and business development projects, from onboarding new partners to refining sales processes and reporting.

  3. Performance Management & Reporting

    • Ensure that all sales data in our B2B dashboard and revenue sheets is accurate, up to date and easy to interpret.

    • Analyze sales performance and market trends to make data-driven decisions.

    • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of trade fairs and wholesale activities.

  4. Team Leadership & cross functional collaboration

    • Lead and manage the Account Managers and Sales Support Specialist and Retail Marketing Manager.

    • Set clear goals and priorities for the team, ensuring structured workflows and efficient collaboration.

    • Provide guidance and coaching to help the team grow and perform at their best.

    • Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns with B2B objectives and maximize brand visibility.

    • Brief the creative team on the design needs to roll out an effective B2B mailer strategy.

  5. Event & Trade Fair Leadership

    • Plan and lead our presence at trade fairs and sales trips.

    • Monitor return on investment from events and refine strategies accordingly.

Job requirements

About you

Fluent in Dutch (native) and English, both written and spoken.
✔ 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales or business development, preferably in fashion, lifestyle or accessories.
✔ A strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
✔ Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
✔ Experience in working with international agents and distributors.
✔ Willingness and availability to travel (at least twice a year) for trade fairs and sales events.
✔ Analytical and data-driven, with strong reporting and performance tracking abilities.
✔ Based in or near Amsterdam, available 36-40 hours per week.
✔ Passion for sustainability and alignment with O My Bag’s mission and values.

You’ll be joining a team of about 30 talented and energetic professionals with 10+ nationalities.

On a daily basis, you will be working closely with our Account Managers, Sales Support and Retail Marketing Manager — a passionate and driven team dedicated to growing O My Bag’s wholesale presence worldwide.
