PR & Social Media Intern

Our office is a hub of ambition, creativity, and fun, and we're looking for a PR & Social Media intern who shares our passion and fits right into our upbeat and friendly atmosphere.

Your main responsibilities
You are the linking pin between PR and social media at O My Bag. Therefore, your main responsibilities are:

• Rolling out seasonal campaigns, by shipping samples, organizing promotional materials, and tracking results;

• Creating strategies and managing the operational side of third party collaborations, including the affiliate program and brand partnerships;

• Organizing Influencer gatherings and PR events;

• Learn all about influencer marketing and how it is integrated within social media! You will assist in our content creator strategy by creating new relationships and managing requests across Instagram, TikTok and Youtube;

• Fan of our reels and stories? Lucky you! You will assist in the content creation process with our Social Media Manager, by help brainstorming trending content and by assisting on filming days;

• Be creative! You will design our Instagram story sets on Canva based on what’s decided during the content meeting;

• Report monthly on influencer and PR activities and keep influencer and Instagram performance statistics up to date;

• Manage our PR and Instagram inbox and help us with responding to requests in the O My Bag tone of voice;

• Manage the content from all collaborations and make sure it is filed correctly for our other channels, including social media.

About you

You're the right fit for us if you:

• You’ve always dreamed of working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

• You study/already have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business development, or similar.

• You know how to get things done and will make sure that it will be done in the best way.

• You are organized, neat and pay attention to the details.

• As a part of our PR team, you will be representing our company. You have a charming attitude, you enjoy meeting new people, and you know how to create a warm professional relationship.

• As a part of our bigger marketing team, you will be included in our day to day marketing, and we rely on you to bring fresh ideas and be creative.

• You are completely fluent in English, spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus!

• Changing the world takes time and therefore you are available for 40 hours a week for 5-6 months from January/February 2025.

You will be part of our marketing team, managed by our PR & Influencer Manager Emilie and our Social Media Manager Thea. The total marketing team consists of 9 people.
